Our most exciting news came on August 18, 2009 when we won a second place cash award for our work with the most impoverished population of Guatemala. Along with our sister agency, Chuwi Tinamit, we left the Juan Bautista Gutierrez Foundation awards banquet with $50,000 earmarked for materials and labor for the vocational school.
