Cat Brandon, Volunteer Coordinator
Cat is a former Peace Corps Volunteer from Virginia who has been living in Guatemala for over three years. She has a B.A. in Spanish from the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, and spent five years teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL) in Mexico and the US prior to her January 2005 arrival in Guatemala. Cat's primary work in Guatemala includes planning and managing the organic gardens within the Parque Chimiyá grounds.

Adam Howland, Construction Manager
Adam is from Upstate New York, where he got a degree in Construction in 2001. He joined the Peace Corps in 2002 and led construction projects in a rural Guatemalan village for the next 3 years. Adam was one of the original Long Way Home volunteers, joining forces with Matt when he first returned to Guatemala to start the organization at the beginning of 2005. Adam plays a crucial role as a designer and a builder in all LWH construction projects. |

Liz Howland, Project Manager
Liz is from Pennsylvania and has a B.S. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She served in Peace Corps Guatemala from 2003 to 2005, where she met and married her husband Adam. She has participated in a variety of projects in Guatemala, from animal husbandry to construction. Her current role with Long Way Home is to plan and prepare all food related events for volunteers. She is a great cook.
